I would dearly like to use the "Event Trace" and "ETW Trace Viewer" tools (as shown in this article (above)) but when I downloaded the Windows 7 SDK: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c17ba869-9671-4330-a63e-1fd44e0e2505&displaylang=en I installed the WPF Perf tools but the only tools available to me are "Visual Profiler" and "Perforator" which are great but not what I want --- where can I get the WPFPerf stuff which will allow me to see all the tools as shown in this article?

In VS2008 Windows 7,

Once a "windows service app" has been installed using IstallUtil:

the service does not appear in the (SCM) service control manager?

How can this be rectified.
